Continuously verifies the resistance of the operator and worksurface ground connections.
Specifications: Reliable resistance method actually includes the operator's skin resistance to determine if the system is operating properly. Audible and visual alarms warn if the operator's resistance exceeds 10 megohms or 35 megohms or the wiring connections exceed 3.7 megohms. Warns of potentially dangerous low-resistance situations too. Adjustable loudness. Switch allows user to select either a 9V or 16V test voltage and 10 megohms or 35 megohms resistance setting. Requires dual-conductor wrist straps (must be purchased separately) to provide resistance circuit and grounding redundancy. Monitor includes quick-disconnect dual remote jack and monitoring hardware. Optional Remote Splitter Kit offers the versatility of grounding and monitoring two workers at close proximity, independent workstations. Replacement Remote Input Jack provides two phone jacks--one for the primary worker and one for use by visitors to the work area. Features a quick connect/disconnect system. Dual-Conductor Wrist Straps come in a variety of colors and are made of plastic. (No. 81052) is made of adjustable fabric). Coiled Cords of various lenghts may be purchased separately.
