Monitor Verifies Work Surface Ground Connections
3M Workstation Continuous Monitor continuously verifies the resistance of the operator and work surface ground connections. Reliable resistance method includes the operator’s skin resistance to determine if the system is operating properly. Audible and visual alarms warn if the operator’s resistance exceeds 10 megohms or 35 megohms, if wiring connections exceed 3.7 megohms and when resistance is dangerously low. Adjustable alarm volume. Selectable 9V or 16V test and 10 or 35 megohms resistance setting. Resistance circuit and grounding redundancy requires Dual-Conductor Wrist Strap (No. 81052, sold separately). Monitor hardware and remote input jack with two phone jacks and quick connect/disconnect included. Dual-Conductor Coiled Cord (No. 81053) sold separately.
