Easy to set up and move around, this fume hood requires no ducting and consumes no energy! A large volume enclosure provides a more comfortable work area. Oblong door openings are designed to add fume and spill protection. Specifications: Filters toxic gases, fume particulates and odors. Tested filtration efficiency is 99% at 1% of the TLV, making it ideal for use with solvents and formaldehyde. Can filter more than 600 chemicals. Alarm system automatically monitors filter condition, but demands fail-safe filter tests by user. Order with the filter of your choice for long-lasting service (one-year average effective life span with normal use, results may vary). A combination filter for particulates adds a second stage for greater filtration. Rear wall and hood are crafted of a non-corrosive steel alloy and reinforced with an acid-resistant polyethylene coating. Clear acrylic walls and door are 3/8" thick and form an effective three-sided safety panel for dependable protection with maximum visibility. Two turbine-type fans are protected from corrosion and operate at 115V at 60Hz. Outer enclosure measures 42 1/5"H x 34 1/3"W x 29 1/6"D. Optional Security Filter searches for gas breakthrough and triggers alarm detection. Externally Mounted Fluorescent Light is sold separately.
