DOT Composite Drums meet DOT requirements for hazardous transport
Strong, double protection

The strength and durability of a steel drum, plus the chemical compatibility of polyethylene! Bung plugs thread directly into liner to eliminate spills and protect outer drum from corrosion. Closed-head, 40-mil polyethylene liner is encased in a tough steel exterior for extra protection. No. 28092 has two 2" buttress openings (one with 3/4" center reducer). Nos. 5790 and 5790-2 have a 2" NPT and a 2" buttress opening (with a 3/4" center reducer).
