Specifications: The high density polyethylene (HDPE) shell is supported by stainless steel outer rails which are permanently attached with stainless steel rivets. Molded bottom runners support the stretcher when it's not being carried. Foam padding is nonabsorbent for cleanliness. For rescues requiring lengthy foot travel, order the Break-Away Plastic Stretcher. It splits into two halves for easier carrying on a backpack. Halves lock together with positive-locking quick-release pins.
