Portable, self-contained fume adsorbers trap odors/vapors and recirculate clean air into laboratory--requires no ducting. Ideal for light applications when a conventional hood is impractical.
Specifications: Built-in blower provides 35 fpm face velocity (100 cfm for No. 133821 and 200 cfm for No. 133822). 115V AC, 60 Hz, 2A. Fumes are drawn through the epoxy-coated stainless steel baffle with zones of perforations into the filter chamber where the activated carbon adsorbs trace solvents, including xylene and toluene vapors. Replaceable 6-pound activated carbon filter included (Double has two). Blower and carbon filter(s) are housed in an epoxy-coated steel cell. Front has a 5° ergonomic angled slope. Side and top canopy made from one-piece, 3/8"-thick, shatter-resistant acrylic. Includes filter(s), wiring, switch and an 8'L three-wire cord with plug.
Replacement Carbon Filters
All filters contain activated carbon. The Organic Carbon Filter adsorbs xylene, tuolene and other solvents. 6 lbs. The Formaldehyde Carbon Filter adsorbs formalin and formaldehyde. 7.5 lbs. The Ammonia Carbon Filter adsorbs ammonia and amines. 8.8 lbs.
