LABCONCO® Protector™ XVS Ventilation Stations Close 
Low-Profile Design Keeps Powders/Fumes Contained During Light-Duty, Fume-Generating Procedures Ideal for solvent cleaning, adhesives application, chemical mixing and soldering. Excellent visibility, containment and protection. Ergonomically angled sash reduces glare and provides a comfortable operating position. Specifications: Tempered safety glass front sash, sides and top. Patented air foil with Clean-Sweep™ openings provide even, inward air flow to protect the operator and contain hazardous fumes, vapors and fine powders. Hinged sash swings from a 8" opening to 20" for loading and cleaning. Sturdy, stable aluminum and steel frame. Frame, steel baffle, plenum and air foil are epoxy-coated for corrosion resistance. Two utility ports for cords and tubing. Exhaust openings: 2" x 10" rectangular colloars on top and bottom. 22.75"H x 28.81"D. 2' Enclosures are 24"W; 3' Enclosures are 36"W and 4' Enclosures are 48"W. Ducting is available using the FilterMate™ Portable Exhauster (sold separately) or one of the Remote Blowers (sold separately). Contain spills with a solid epoxy dished Black Work Surface available in three widths: 2', 3' or 4'. The FilterMate Portable Exhauster uses a carbon-based filter that removes hazardous powders or vapors from the exhaust air stream, returning filtered air to the environment. Compact, corrosion-resistant housing sits next to enclosure. Quiet operation. Provides 100 fpm face velocity to 2', 3' or 4' enclosures. Includes flexible hose, two clamps and a upper transition adaptor for connection. Requires Organic Filter Cell (No. 126226) for operation (not included with FilterMate). Work Surface and Telescoping Base Stand are required for use. Epoxy-coated steel Exhaust Transition Adaptors provide easy connection to standard 6"-dia. duct for connecting Remote Blowers. Remote Blower is epoxy-coated steel with a 6" I.D. inlet. Compliance: ASHRAE 110-1995, SEFA 1-2002, ANSI 29.5-1993. |
