Auscultation Trainer and SmartScope
Wireless Remote Helps Train Students in a Variety of Heart and Lung Conditions
A training manikin that¿s just like a real patient without visible auscultation sites. Students must palpate to identify correct auscultation locations, then using the SmartScope they¿ll hear different heart and lung sounds. Diagnosis of the condition selected by the instructor is made by comparing the variations in sounds occurring at different sites.
Specifications: Select heart and lung conditions on wireless remote control. Lung sounds can be detected at five anterior and 12 posterior locations and students can practice auscultation at six anterior heart sites. Heart sounds for each condition will change as the student moves from site to site. Listen to the sounds by either using headpieces on SmartScope or by connecting to a 10W
Amplifier/Speaker System (available separately). Range on the unit is up to 100' of remote access.
