Early warning is your best protection against storms, hazards and civil emergencies. Specific Area Message Encoding (S.A.M.E.) allows you to program Civil Emergency Radios to sound an alert only in your selected areas.
Specifications: Nos. 108746 - 108747 feature seven NOAA channels, emergency power back-up for use during power outages and function as a clock, with 12-hour display, alarm and snooze. No. 108746 offers 25 user-set counties and requires three AA batteries. Includes jack for external antenna (not included). No. 108747 gives you 30 user-set counties, requires four AA batteries and has built-in jacks for earphone and external antenna. No. 108748 is a hand-held model you can take with you anywhere. Offers seven NOAA channels. It has a built-in °F/°C thermometer with freeze alert so you know when the temperature drops below freezing. Also includes an alarm clock with date. No. 108749 improves range and reception.
