•Ideal for screening potentially contaminated areas such as medical and dental facilities, checking suspect material and post-cleanup testing

>Each Swab contains everything required for a rapid surface mercury test or to detect liquid concentrations of at least 1-2ug in 100ul (10-20 ppm). Swabs have a cotton tip impregnated with a mercury reactive dye on one end and a crushable vial. Pkg. of 8.
To Use: Crush the vial enclosed in the barrel. Squeeze again to wet the cotton tip. Rub the surface for 30 seconds. If mercury is present, the cotton tip turns purple. If there's no color change, use the confirmation card containing a small quantity of mercury salt to ensure the test was performed properly.
