These vacuums use a patented ULPA (Ultra-low penetration air) filter safety-locking system to safely remove hazardous dust. For use in offices, schools, asbestos abatement jobs, garages and industrial areas where daily or weekly removal of hazardous material is necessary. Specifically designed for asbestos particles, this vacuum is also effective in filtering other airborne pollutants such as cement, foundry and kiln dusts, insecticides, fertilizer dust, coal dust and many others. Particularly useful for clean-up after insulation operations on pipes, in removing asbestos-covered ceiling and wall material and for vehicle maintenance procedures involving brakes, clutches and other asbestos-containing materials.
Specifications: Vacuums have an efficiency rating of 99.999% for particles 0.12 microns and will not start unless the ULPA (Ultra-low penetration air) filter is in place and properly aligned. Made of rugged polyethylene that is noncorrosive and dent-proof. Self-sealing intake ensures a positive vacuum seal while maintaining maneuverability. Hoses lock in place but are easy to connect and remove. Features an adaptor that quickly attaches to the vacuum forming a leakproof seal with the vacuum tank.
Replacement Cloth Filters are 100% polyester, nonwoven and are "dimpled" giving them 50% more filtration than a standard smooth bag.
15-gal. Wet/Dry Tool Kit includes a 1-1/2" round x 10'L crush-proof hose, operator's wand, 12"L crevice tool, 3" round dust brush, 5"L upholstery tool, 5"L slide-on bristle brush, 11"L floor and rug combo and 14"L squeegee floor tool assembly.
6-gal. Wet/Dry Tool Kit includes all of the above in addition to a crush-proof hose for plastic intake.
