Nalgene Hydrometers Provide Fast, Accurate Specific Gravity Measurements

Hydrometers are available in salt or specific gravity (liquids heavier than water) scales. Salt version is excellent for food, beverage and other testing. Temperature standard is 60°F. Virtually unbreakable polycarbonate has glass-like clarity—and the same accuracy as glass. Not autoclavable. Hydrometer Jar is polymethylpentene for superior chemical resistance and has a broad base for stability. Upper temperature limit of 135°C (243°F).
Compliance: Hydrometers are calibrated against NIST standards.
