Omni Tip™ System
Omni Tip System is Ideal for Small Tissue Applications, Plus PCR, RNA and DNAEliminate sample loss and cross-contamination with the Omni Tip System. Tips are reusable and autoclavable, but economical enough to be disposable—less than 1% of the cost of stainless steel probes. Lightweight, ergonomic design allows hand-held or post-mounted operation. Quarter-turn bayonet probe mounting allows fast release. Homogenizer Systems process volumes of 250µL–20mL. Run quietly at less than 72dB. Both include a 125W motor that runs at 5000–35,000 rpm, tip adaptor, 12 Hard or Soft tips, accessory case with drawer storage, tool kit and manual.
Clear plastic Disposable Tissue Tips, either Soft Tissue (deaggregation) or Hard Tissue (frozen), can be reused or disposed of after one use. Disposal makes the System virtually maintenance-free, eliminating the disassembly required with traditional stainless steel. Tips resist weak acids, chlorides, hypochlorites and other chemicals and can be autoclaved up to seven times. Not recommended for extended use with common PCR reagents such as phenol or guanidine-based PCR reagents.
