Irrigate at a Slow Rate for Better Root Growth

This innovative tree watering system, designed by an ISA-certified arborist, allows you to control drip rate. Typical configuration drops for three weeks! Allows air circulation from stem to soil. Reduces hand watering labor by two thirds. 25-gal. Tree Irrigator includes four drip emitters that you attach to the bottom of the tube. You decide how many emitters to use, depending on how quickly you want to disperse water to your tree. The more emitters you use, the quicker the tube will empty. This irrigation system also promotes root growth by gradually decreasing water output as the tube empties. As the tree receives less water, it sends out "feeder" roots attempting to get more. This water weaning mechanism means the Irrigator actually teaches trees to live on their own. Each unit includes drip emitters and a wooden stake to secure the tube at the tree location. (15-gal. Irrigator includes one emitter.) Multiple units can be connected for 5"-dia. or larger trees. Can be used on any tree, including evergreens, multi-stem and low-branch species.
