Specifications: Three functions in one include a "hygrometer mode" that measures relative humidity, temperature, dew point, specific humidity and proximity to dew point with the replaceable Hygrostick. The "pin measure mode" determines the moisture content of wood and the wood moisture equivalent value of other building materials. Last, the "pinless measure mode", detects the presence of moisture with use of radio frequency. As a moisture meter, search and measure are the two modes used. Search mode indicates moisture level beneath the surface or behind a tile or floor covering. Measure mode provides more information at the surface and up to 5" below the surface. Meter includes nylon carrying pouch, 5" deep wall probes, pin extension lead, hygrostick probe, surface temperature sensor, hygrostick extension lead, wood calibration chart, calibration check device, spare pins, instructions and two AA batteries.
