Oversized 8mm shaft will not bend from abuse or imbalance. Forced-air ventilation keeps specimens, rotor and motor cool, even during long runs. Oversized soft rubber base absorbs vibration, reduces noise and stops bench walking. Rapid slowdown from 10,000 rpm to zero in about 20 seconds.
