Portable Air Purifiers can be placed wherever you need them. Each uses a special ultraviolet light to eliminate airborne contaminants. The UV germicidal radiation replicates the natural outdoor air purification effects of the sun. This UV light, which destroys microbes that can cause disease and illnesses, works in conjunction with a high-quality filter to make your indoor environment healthier. Treating air with safe, silent UV radiation has been successfully used in health care facilities, food processing plants, schools and laboratories.
Specifications: Purifiers plug into any 120V outlet. Built-in fan circulates air up to 100 cfm to ensure necessary air changes and maximize effectiveness. UV lamp kills airborne molds, bacteria and viruses. Carbon filter reduces odors and VOCs. High-efficiency filter traps particles as small as 0.05 microns. Units do not produce ozone and do not interfere with radio or TV reception. Filter should be changed every three months. Lamp should be changed after 9000 hours of use. UV-500C model cleans air in areas up to 500 sq. ft. It has an 8"L UV lamp, 10"W x 10"L high-efficiency / carbon filter, heavy-duty three-speed fan, visual lamp and filter condition alert, adjustable fan control, built-in handles and rubber feet. UV-1500C unit cleans air in areas up to 1500 sq. ft. It has a 12"L UV lamp, 12"W x 12"L high-efficiency / carbon filter, secondary carbon filter, heavy-duty fan, visual and audible lamp condition alert, adjustable fan control, recessed handle and rubber feet. Replacement Kit for No. 143482 includes four high-efficiency / carbon filters and one UV lamp. Replacement Kit for No. 143483 includes one carbon filter, one UVlamp and four high-efficiency / carbon filters.
