Specifications: Thousands of possible combinations make guessing the code virtually impossible. Change the code as often as you want in just minutes, without removing the lock from the door. Heavy-duty cylindrical lock housing conforms to ANSI 156.2 Grade 1 and Department of Defense 5220.22M. Latch/backset: UL/ULC three-hour rated 5/8" (16mm) latch bolt with 2-3/4" (70mm) backset and floating faceplate. Door thickness: 1-3/8-2-1/4" (35-57mm). Key Override locks let you maintain a keyed-alike security system with the same key system already in use. Key is normally only in the hands of security or management and will override the lock's combination to gain entry. Key override will accept most Best and compatible removable-core cylinders. Removable-core cylinder is not supplied with lock.Passage locks allow access without using entry code (keep door unlocked even while closed). Function is on inside of door and can be activated by a thumbturn or a key (thumbturn and key included on all passage-feature models). Latch and hand on Knob-style locks are field-reversible. Furnished with standard and reversible strike plates. Satin chrome finish.
