Ergonomic Design and Advanced Optics

Bigger and now with better ergonomic features, all 1400 Series microscopes feature 20W variable quartz halogen illumination.
Specifications: Brightfield models use the most common illumination technique, directing light through the sample and then to the eye of the viewer. In some cases staining may be required in order to see samples. Phase Contrast models use special lighting configurations to induce contrast without staining and are especially useful in wine making, biotech and biological applications and asbestos testing.
