Arc Guard Category 2: Manufactured of 9.5 oz. Nomex IIIA, an inherently Flame-resistant blend of 93% Nomex, 5% Kevlar® and 2% anti-static fiber. Material is very durable with a proven performance record in flash-fire and electric-arc applications.
Arc Guard Category 3: Constructed of a triple-layer combination of 12.3 oz. Kevlar/Nomex, 1.5 oz. E-89 and 3.25 oz. Nomex. Kevlar offers superior strength and is inherently flame- and cut-resistant making it an ideal material for electrical arc applications.
