Custom Product Questions

Now you can order some custom products directly from labsafety.com. View our new and growing CustomizeIt! site area and see if we can help you save a little time. All other custom products must be ordered by calling 1-800-356-0783 and the following information is applicable.


How do I order a custom product from Lab Safety Supply?

We have a group of Customer Service Representatives who specialize in customs; one of them will personally walk you through your order when you call. Production times do vary so please ask your Customer Service Representative for exact time frames.

Some of our custom products do require art approval. In this case we will fax an Artwork Approval form that you need to sign and fax back. Once you approve the artwork, your order will be processed. Note: Although we do not require art approval on all custom products, you may always request to see a "proof" if you feel it is needed.

What if I need a custom with very specialized artwork?

Our Art Department can create just about anything you need. Just give us something to start with--a drawing, a sketch, a logo, even company letterhead.

What if a mistake is found along the way?

Everyone involved in producing a custom order is responsible for checking it over. When an error is found, the CSR handling the order is immediately notified, and will contact you if necessary.

How are custom products printed?

Quality printwork is a top priority and custom products take precedence over less time-sensitive printing jobs. We use two printing methods--flexography and screen printing--for our custom printed products

And how is my order handled in Shipping?

Once packaged, your custom product is ready to ship. In Shipping, your order is carefully boxed and made ready to ship. Customers in most U.S. locations can expect delivery in two or three days; guaranteed overnight and second-day delivery options are also available.

What if I want to re-order a custom product?

All custom products are assigned a reorder number and kept on file for 2 years. (You'll usually find the reorder number in the bottom right-hand corner.)
