ADA-Compliant Door Closers Have Opening Swing Controlled by Hydraulic Backcheck
Heavy-duty, ADA-Compliant Door Closers equip interior doors up to 48"W. Adjustable to ADA accessibility requirements. ANSI / BHMA A156.4, Grade 1 Closers. Hold-open arm with parallel arm bracket. Adjustable forearm assembly accommodates a range of door and frame reveal locations. Standard cylinder has a main speed function that controls the motion of the door from maximum opening angle to within a few inches of the latch. Function controls the final closing motion. Opening swing is controlled by hydraulic backcheck function from approximately 70° to maximum opening. Fasteners included to install on wood, hollow metal or aluminum storefront-type doors. Through bolts included to install on 1-3/4"-thick hollow-core doors. Choose Aluminum (No. 144532) or Dark Bronze (No. 144533).
