Fabrics on Firefighter Coats Offer Personal Protection and Visibility

Comfortable Classic Wildland Firefighter Coats are made with fire-resistant Indura® Ultra Soft® (Nos. 139688 and 9689) or Nomex® (No. 139690) fabrics that char rather than "feeding" the fire. You'll remain visible in all situations with the flame-resistant, fluorescent lime-yellow bands with 3M™ reflective Scotchlite® silver stripes across the upper back and arms. 4"H alpine collar can be worn down for venting or zipped up to protect against heat and flames.
Self-locking, two way brass zipper mounted to Nomex tape is covered by double storm-flap. Raglan-style sleeves have adjustable cuff hooks. 8"W x 3"D spade-style flaps secure items inside two 3-1/2"H x 8"W expandable hip pockets. Radio pocket on front left provides easy access.
