Reset/test button silences the 85dB alarm to give you time to take action. Units re-alarm, if danger persists. Units have an 85dB alarm. Battery-Operated Detectors have a replaceable module that continues to work when electricity fails. Measure at both low and elevated levels for an extra margin of safety. Runs on two AA batteries, sold separately. Units measure CO every 90 seconds. Green, yellow and red lights indicate alarm levels.
