All components in the Settlometer Kit are chemically resistant to normal sludge samples (pH range 3–10). Kit includes 2L polycarbonate jar with cover, polypropylene paddle, ten 15mL polycarbonate conical centrifuge tubes with polypropylene covers, instruction booklet and data sheet. The paddle agitates sample without scratching jar. Designed to fit tabletop centrifuges up to 6000 x g, without cushions or adaptors, eliminating the danger of broken glass fragments to operator or centrifuge.
