Choose Teflon FEP Resin or Polypropylene
Separatory Funnels are autoclavable, except for stopcock assemblies which can be removed easily for chemical disinfecting. Stem length below stopcock is 65mm on all funnels. Funnels are safe to use with a mechanical shaker—just attach hose clamp over the stopcock insertion area. Teflon® FEP Resin Funnels are completely impervious to any chemical used in a separatory funnel making them ideal for use in radiological and hazardous separations. Nearly transparent, yet break resistant, these Funnels outlast fragile glass. Nonstick, nonwetting Teflon surfaces drain completely for easy cleaning. Leakproof Teflon stopcock and a Tefzel ETFE screw closure.
Economical Polypropylene Funnels stand up to many chemicals, including hydrofluoric acid, but do not have the chemical resistance of Teflon. Polypropylene Funnels have a Teflon stopcock, with a polypropylene screw closure.
