Arc-Rated Clothes Feature Light, Comfortable Fabric with Properties of Nomex®
Here’s a selection of Arc-Rated Clothes that’s lighter than most other protective garments. Protera material has inherent flame resistance that cannot be removed. Garments are constructed of 65% modacrylic, 33% aramid and 2% carbon/nylon antistatic fiber. Protera material has Kevlar® and Nomex® fabric underlayers for even more protection. Made in the USA.
Deluxe Work Shirt (No. 156809) offers a button-down front, two breast pockets, a pencil pocket, double-layer collar and two-ply button cuffs. Length is 35". Arc rating of 8.5cal/cm2.
Protera Coat (No. 144768) is a thigh-length style with a stand-up collar. It includes a fire-resistant Velcro® placket closure—no metal closures—and fire-resistant knit wrists. Length is 32". Arc rating of 40cal/cm2.
Protera Overalls (No. 144769) give you quick-release, easy-to-adjust shoulder straps plus a fire-resistant Velcro fly and calf closures. Two slash pockets with pass-through slots allow access to pants pockets. Arc rating of 40cal/cm2.
Protera Coveralls (No. 144773) include a sewn-in elastic waist and a two-way covered zipper down the front for easy entry. Breast pockets have flaps and hidden snaps. Coveralls also have two large rear pockets and two front pockets with pass-through slots for access to pants pockets. Arc rating of 8.5cal/cm2.
Hood with Faceshield (No. 144770) fits onto a standard hard hat. Includes a 15"L front bib for extra protection. Arc rating of 40cal/cm2.
