Classic Fire Axe handles are constructed of Nuplaglas®, using a 70–75% fiberglass-to-resin ratio, for maximum strength while maintaining the look and feel of real wood. Classic Handles measure 36"L. Available in 6-lb. Pick Head (No. 105608) and 8-lb. PIck Head (No. 105610) styles.
Slim Fire Axe handles feature Ergo Power®, a combination of an injection-molded outer polypropylene sleeve over a Nuplaglas core. 6-lb. Pick Head styles available in 28"L (No. 171825-28) and 32"L (No.171825-32) and 36"L (No. 171825-36) styles. Or choose the 8-lb. Pick Head (No. 171826-8) or 6-lb. Flat Head (No. 171826-6); both handles measures 36"L.
