For short-term projects, GasAlert 100 Detectors are a great choice. There are no maintenance costs, you just use them and throw them away when they're no longer needed.
Specifications: Continuous, alphanumeric LCD shows detector life remaining, alarm set points and informs you of its self-test status. Alarm set points are displayed on command. Two alarm levels use a 95dB tone and a wide-angled visual alarm bar to let you know when conditions are hazardous. Detectors measure 2.3"H x 1.45"W x 1"D. Weighing just 1 oz., you can easily clip them to your pocket or belt.
