Alarms operate on 120V with battery backup in case of power outage (except No. 83771). Feature green LED power-on indicators and red LEDs that indicate when Alarms are activated. Hush® buttons silence nuisance and low-battery signals. Test / reset button functions test circuitry, activation and peak-level memories. Operating temperature for all Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms are 40°F to 100°F.
Kidde Ionization Alarms feature voice warnings that announce “Fire,” “Carbon Monoxide” and “Low Battery” when detected. Choose from AC with 9V Battery Backup (No. 175980) or Battery Operated (No. 83771).

BRK Photoelectric Alarm with AA Battery Backup (No. 175982) includes voice warning with location of danger detected.
