LSS Spill Kits-Quick Response for Spill Cleanups.
Spill kits help you respond quickly to clean up the spills you encounter—whether they’re in your facility, outdoors or even on the road.
Choose the kit that accommodates your needs, from small spills in your shop, lab or plant to large spills outdoors or on open water.
The spill kits are organized for your convenience as Universal, General-Purpose or Oil-Only. You’ll find the technical specifications for the four sorbents below.


Universal Sorbent Kits

  • Easy to use—universal sorbents work for acids, bases, solvents and lubricants—no guessing what to use
  • Inert material won’t deteriorate in harsh chemicals, including sulfuric, hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid
  • High sorption capacity—soak up to 11 times their weight
  • Easily incinerated for convenient disposal
  • 100% treated polypropylene


Universal Sorbent Kits

  • Absorb most types of aggressive liquids (except hydrofluoric acid and hydrazine)
  • Lightweight sorbents are handy to maneuver around your spill locations
  • Indefinite storage life—expanded silicate filler
  • Soak up to 10 times their weight in liquids


General-Purpose Sorbent Kits

  • Absorbs oils, solvents, coolants, lubricants and
    water-based chemicals
  • Economical, great for every day use
  • Durable sorbents filled with 100% recycled cellulose
  • Absorb up to nine times their weight in liquids
  • Incinerable to less than 1% ash


Oil-Only Sorbent Kits

  • 100% polypropylene is ideal for use indoors or out
  • Absorb all petroleum-based products such as solvents, oils and lubricants
  • Hydrophobic sorbents will not absorb water—ideal for cleaning up spills on water
  • Absorb up to 25 times their weight
  • Easily incinerable—low ash content
