Trex™ took the best features of a 12-parallel channel GPS receiver and put them into a 5.3-oz. package, 4.5"H and 1.2"W. The powerful result is the thinnest, most compact GPS available.
Specifications: Located on either edge, the Summit’s five user-friendly controls allow clear, one-handed operation. The high-resolution screen displays images via 128 x 64 pixels of sharp, electro-luminescent backlighting and a four-level gray scale to expand your navigability. The proven eTrex 12-parallel channel GPS receiver is capable of operating for 22 hours on two AA batteries and up to 13 hours GPS and compass. The barometric sensor automatically reads pressure and trend recording. Unlike a traditional GPS, requiring motion to display position, Summit’s built-in compass provides accurate headings without user movement. For precise maneuvers, it features 500 user waypoints with name, elevation and graphics as well as one reversible-route storage with an automatic track log of up to 50 waypoints to help you navigate back.
