Threadlockers are easy-to-apply compounds that ensure a secure hold, even under vibration. Economical, just one drop prevents loosening, plus it seals threads against leakage and prevents rust. Retaining Compounds bond nonthreaded cylindrical metal assemblies; fill inner voids in close-fitting press fits, <\n>keyways and splines; and make press fits stronger.
Specifications: Threadlocker 222 MS is a low-strength threadlocker perfect for small fasteners (1˝4" dia. and smaller). Removable with hand tools. Threadlocker 242 is a medium-strength, general-purpose threadlocker for 1/4"- and 3/4"-dia. fasteners. Removable with hand tools. Threadlocker 262 is a permanent, high-strength threadlocker designed for use with heavy shock, vibration, chemicals and high stress levels. Remove by applying heat to the fastener and removing with hand tool. Full strength in 24 hours. Threadlocker 271 is a high-strength threadlocker perfect for fasteners up to 1" in dia. Threadlocker 272 is a high-strength, high-temperature threadlocker recommended for bolts up to 1-1/2" dia. Suited for temperatures up to 450°F. Threadlocker 290 is a high-strength, low-viscosity threadlocker that wicks along the threads of pre-assembled fasteners and secures them in place. 680 Retaining Compound is a high-strength, room-temperature curing adhesive used to join fitted cylindrical parts. Reduces costs by allowing relaxed machining tolerances and replacing clamp rings, set screws and snap rings. Fills diametral gap distances up to 0.015". Temperature range: –65° to 300°F. Sets up in 10 minutes.
