These ice melters break through ice and prevent refreezing. They’re safe to handle, won’t burn or irritate skin or leave messy, oily residue. Will not harm grass, shrubs, trees or concrete. Winter Storm® is economical, sodium chloride based and effective to 0°F. Safe Step® contains MG-104™, a one-of-a-kind ice-breaking agent that penetrates ice fast and keeps melting ice from refreezing. Lasts up to 2-1/2 times longer than calcium chloride. It’s not hygroscopic, so it doesn’t attract moisture like calcium chloride ice melters--you can store it for months at a time.
Winter Storm® Mag Chloride provides the best melting at extremely low temperatures. Its unique crystal form pentrates ice and begins melting in temperatures as low as –25°F. Plus, it won’t roll or blow away.
