Shatter-Resistant Fluorescent Lamps

• Plastic-coated lamps will not shatter
• Required in food service and food processing facilities

To ensure that broken glass cannot get into food, government regulations require that only protective lighting is used in food processing and food packaging facilities. To comply with these regulations, Shat-R-Shield Lamps are coated with protective plastic from end to end. If dropped or broken, virtually all glass and mercury remain safely contained. High-output Nos. 140247 and 140248 are recommended for refrigerated areas.
