Step Drills feature easy-to-sharpen, nonskid tips. Flattened shank prevents slipping in drill chuck. Constructed of industrial-grade, high-speed molybdenum steel and heat-treated to ensure maximum durability. Titanium-Nitride (TiN) Coated Step Drill Kit lasts four to five times longer than ordinary bits. Made of high-speed molybdenum steel with a TiN coating that causes less friction. Self-starting bits won't skid. Hardness value of 82 to 86 on Rockwell "C" scale. Sizes: 1/8 - 1/2", 3/16 - 1/2" and 1/4 - 3/4". Electrical Knockout Bit cuts 7/8" and 1-1/8" holes for electrical fittings without changing bits. Use on steel, copper, brass, aluminum and plastics up to 1/8" thick.
