Sometimes chemicals need added protection. Laboratories, schools, construction sites and other high-traffic areas require extra precautions to keep your costly fuels and chemicals safely stored and secure. These yellow cabinets have a security system that includes 2"W x 1/4"-thick steel barrier bar that secures across both doors to deter prying. Padlock lugs are provided on the crossbar and side bar channel for you to add a No. 5 Master® Padlock, sold separately.
Specifications: Lockable doors feature a Sure-Grip® handle and are designed with a three-point latch for extra security. Fire-resistant design includes double-walled, 18-ga. construction with 1-1/2" airspace. Includes dual vents with flame arrestors, a 2"D leaktight sump to catch spills and a grounding connector. Powder coat paint finish inside and out to resist chemicals. 30-gal. Cabinets have one adjustable shelf. 45-gal. Cabinets have two adjustable shelves. Manual door style self-latches for maximum protection under fire conditions. Cabinets with Forklift Pockets make it easy to relocate units when they're empty. Forklift pockets are lined with heavy-gauge steel, measure 3"H x 6"W and are spaced 29" on center. They include four leveling feet to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.
