Biodegradable Dye Tracers

Visible fluorescent dyes make water flow patterns easy to see and track. Easily map water movement in lakes, reservoirs, sewage plants or any body of water.
Specifications: Ecologically safe colors are bright and vivid and easily detected in clear, deionized water in the range of 100ppb of active ingredient. Choose Tablets or Liquid dye tracers. Tablets disintegrate quickly in water and can be easily traced to very low dilutions. Use for smaller applications under 1000 gallons. Liquid Concentrate is ideal for use when metering input is required and for medium to large scale studies. When used in clear water the dyes can remain visible to concentrations of 1ppm. Choose color based on the contrast to the background of the water body. Tablets come in bottles of 200.

• Fluorescent Yellow/Green color is excellent for high silt or red clay backgrounds. Use fluorescent FWT Red in greenish or yellowish water with a lot of algae. Red dye fluoresces orange (588nm) while Yellow/Green dye fluoresces green (520nm).
• For visual detection only, Blue dye cannot be seen under ultraviolet light or detected by fluorometry. FLT Blue is frequently used for decorative effects, evaluation of household systems and where blue may be more acceptable to public view. Industrial Blue, formulated with Acid Blue 9, is often used in fountains, ponds and streams for decorative effect.
• The new Industrial Red dye is made with Rhodamine B and should not be used in or around potable wate rsources.
