When Ducting Isn't an Option, Carbon-Based Filters Absord Fumes

Self-contained work stations use two carbon filter cells to rid the laboratory of annoying or unsafe concentrations of organic solvents or acid gases. Carbon-based filter cells match NIOSH respirator cartridge color code guidelines. Color can be easily seen from the front.
Specifications: Unique filter clamping mechanism for error-proof, one-step filter replacement. Negative pressure in filter compartment ensures leak-free operation. Frame is epoxy-coated aluminum for excellent chemical resistance. Built-in, non-sparking, corrosion-resistant blower delivers 100 fpm velocity at 236 cfm with sash 13" open and 80 fpm face velocity at 236 cfm with sash 15" open. Two-position tempered safety glass sash. Clear sides give a full view inside the enclosure. Front air foil minimizes turbulence and maximizes containment. Rear baffle ensures safe and rapid fume removal. LCD message center provides continuous filter status reports. Built-in timer allows the user to program the LCD to display a filter change alert message after a specified number of hours. Also includes fluorescent lighting and individual switches for light and blower. 115V, 60 Hz. 53-1/2"H x 36"W x 29"D. 6' wide models also available. Optional Manual Hydraulic Stand with Casters increases height adjustability for Paramount Enclosure, allows passage through standard doorway and improves worker ergonomics. Stand is 3'W and will adjust from 21.5 - 33.5"H. Acid Filter cell includes three chemical detector tubes for periodic air sampling tests. Enclosure with Organic Vapor Sensor and Alarm provides an audible and visual alarm when organic vapors are detected in the filter bed. Senses vapors over 50 ppm. Roughing Prefilter included with unit extends the life of the filter cells.
