LABCONCO® Purifier™ Delta Series Class II Type A2 Safety Cabinets

Protect You, Your Work and Your Environment
Cabinet draws room air into the front grille, providing a curtain of air to prevent biohazardous aerosols from escaping. Air is then drawn through a 99.99% efficient HEPA-filter before flowing down through the work area. Approximately 70% of the air is recirculated through a HEPA filter and back over the work area. The remaining 30% is exhausted through a HEPA filter before leaving the cabinet. Specifications: All contaminated positive-pressure ducts are surrounded by negative pressure plenums. If a puncture or leak occurs, the negative pressure recaptures the contaminated air and forces it through a HEPA filter. Nominal inflow velocity of 80 fpm through a 10" sash opening. Angled, 3/8" safety glass sash adjusts to three positions. Crevice-free, stainless steel interior. Solid welded seams. Voltage compensating, solid-state blower speed control. All models include a differential pressure gauge, two electrical duplexes with splash-resistant covers and glare-free fluorescent light. 115V AC, 60 Hz, 12A. Nos. 40871 and 40874 also include a factory installed 254 nm ultraviolet light fixture. Service Fixture on Nos. 40871 and 40874 are constructed from chrome-plated forged brass with quarter turn handle located on right side. Interior prepared to accept up to three additional fixtures. Cabinets are designed for benchtop use on an Adjustable Height Base Stand or existing casework. Compliance: NSF Standard Number 49 for Biohazard Cabinetry, UL Standard 3101-1 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010.1-92.
