Operating Mantles stay safe-to-the-touch, thanks to a vented case that creates a unique air flow. Spill damage stays minimal, thanks to an outer housing made of resilient, chemical-resistant polypropylene. Stainless steel grounding screen provides added protection against shock if flasks break or spills occur.
Specifications: Built-in controller regulates element temperature from ambient to 450°C. Heating element is suspended inside a thermal-insulating cartridge to deliver maximum heat transfer and flask support. The flexibility of the coiled heating element reduces the risk of flask breakage. The heating cartridge can be replaced easily and quickly. Clear "Heater On" indicator light; amber colored "Power On" indicator light. All Mantles require 115V, 50/60Hz.
