All Spinbar® Stirring Bars are encapsulated in FDA-approved Teflon® PTFE for good chemical resistance and durability.
Specifications: Spinbars come in a pkg. of six. Octagonal styles feature a molded-on pivot ring and are the most commonly used. Their interrupted profile provides greater surface area and added turbulence. Round style offers smooth running characteristics and has a small removable pivot ring in the center that minimizes the contact area of the bar to the vessel, which reduces friction. Flea style is used for stirring small volumes in vials and tubes. Nos. 136163–136164 include two each of 5/16"-dia. x 1"L, 5/16"-dia. x 1-1/2"L and 5/16"-dia. x 2"L. No. 136165 includes two each of 1.5mm-dia. x 8mm, 2mm-dia. x 7mm and 3mm-dia. x 10mm. No. 136166 includes 5/16"-dia. x 1"L bars, two each of blue, red and yellow.
