PCR Process Flexibility in a Compact Package

Fast temperature control, exact block homogeneity and augmented programming provide flexibility. Compact, unit lets you use two different tube sizes or microplates in a 5 x 5 grid format. Three independent temperature sensors monitor across the block, delivering reproducible PCR results.
Specifications: Cycler is licensed and authorized for polymerase chain reaction (PCR)*. Features include RS-232 and printer interfaces, simple programming with adjustable ramps, time and temperature increments, incubation mode, in situ mode, link function and pause function. Use auto-restart option in the event of power failure. Two-year manufacturer warranty. Cycler comes with a heated lid and one Personal Card, a chip-based memory card that allows safe program storage plus easy transfer of individual protocols between different Mastercyclers. Use multiple cards for unlimited memory expansion.
Practice of the patented polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process requires a license. The Mastercycler is an authorized Thermal Cycler and may be used with PCR licenses available from Applied Biosystems. Its use with Authorized Reagents also provides a limited PCR license in accordance with the label rights accompanying such reagents.
