It is vital to check the accuracy of thermometers, particularly those used in food service applications, frequently and with the proper equipment. Check-Temp calibrators provide a stable single temperature point heat source to make calibration a snap.
Specifications: Each certified unit features dial adjustment and a holding feature to make calibration quick and easy. No. 66495 is a 25W unit with a setpoint of 40°F. It requires only three minutes heating time and it's ready to use. No. 66497 is a 45W unit with a setpoint of 160°F and a heating time of ten minutes. No. 80839 is a 25W unit with dual set points of 40°F and 160°F. Switch from high to low in only 5 minutes. Each calibrator is accurate to ±0.2°F and is stable to less than +/- 0.1°F. Calibrators are constructed from stainless steel, weigh 9 lbs. and measure 3-1/16"H x 6-5/8"W x 10-7/8"D. Accepts stem diameters up to 0.150" Each unit comes with a dial adjustment tool, cleaning brush, certificate of calibration and an instruction package.
