Convenient design. Autoclavable and nonautoclavable models available. Vacuum connection on the body makes the cover easy to handle.
Specifications: Transparent polycarbonate cover. Desiccator body is impervious to all standard desiccants. No gasket necessary, only grease; no need to draw a vacuum to make cover airtight. Cover’s recessed rim keeps grease off benchtops. Takes any standard 230mm (9-1/16") desiccator plate. Maximum clearance above plate is 5-5/8". Nonautoclavable model comes with Teflon® stopcock. May be used with 1/4" I.D. vacuum tubing. Designed for room-temperature use only. Desiccator Plate has greater resistance to thermal shock than porcelain.
