Lightweight filters have a translucent polypropylene housing and come in disc or capsule format. Suitable for inline air and gas filtrations. Ideal for sterile venting, filters prevent bacterial, algal or fungal contamination in fermentors or incubators. Ideal for tissue culture applications and removal of particulates from gas and air streams.
Specifications: Filters have high load capacity, high flow rates with low pressure drop across the filter media, and retain 99.97% of airborne particles Ž0.3µm. They can be autoclaved repeatedly. Glass microfiber filtrations media is mildly hydrophobic for resistance to bacterial growth. Lamination on both sides prevents fiber release. Translucent makes make it easy to determine when replacement is needed. Nos. 99954 and 99955 have stepped hose barb connections for 6–10mm inside dia. hose. No. 99956 has a barb for 12mm inside dia. hose.
