Protects Workers, Patients, Prevents Vacuum Pump Damage

Vacu-Guard® does double duty; it protects workers and environment from dangerous particles when installed in tubing on the exhaust side of the pump, and prevents fluid and aerosol contamination of vacuum pump aspiration suction systems when installed immediately before the vacuum source.
Specifications: PTFE filter media. Rated for particle retention in air Ž0.1 µm 99.99%. Connections are 3/8–1/2" stepped hose barb. 50mm Vacu-Guard Filter prevents corrosion and costly repairs by retaining aqueous aerosols, bacteria and viruses. Hydrophobic PTFE filter membrane retains 99.9% of all airborne particles Ž0.1µm and aqueous aerosols up to a maximum pressure of 0.9 bar. 1/4"–3/8" hose barbs. Suitable for use as a pump inlet and outlet filter to reduce hazardous vacuum pump exhaust. Pkg. of 10.
