Choice of Quick-Release Safety Connector for Greater Flask Stability
Choose from two types and six sizes of flasks to best suit your applications.
Specifications: All Flasks are constructed with heavy-duty walls and are designed to take 1 atmosphere of vacuum or 29" of Hg. Filter Flasks (Nos. 52534-52538 and 78145) feature handy side tubulation. Sizes 125mL through 500mL accept 5/16" I.D. flexible tubing. Sizes 1000mL and larger accept 3/8" I.D. tubing. Designed to ASTM Specification E1406, Type II, Class 1 requirements. Filter Flasks with Quick-Release Connector (Nos. 52540-52543 and 78146) have a quick-release connector designed as a safety feature to accommodate standard 1/4" I.D. tubing. Tubing can remain permanently attached since the opposite end is designed to be assembled via a positive threaded seal. Proper positioning of the Hose Connector (No. 52549) provides greater flask stability as tubing angled downward has less tendency to tilt the flask. Designed to ASTM E1406, Type II, Class 2 requirements.
