Helps Eliminate Twisting, Turning and Bending When Taking Samples

Pounds up and down for easier penetration and extraction of soil samplers and probes.
Specifications: Available in compact (18") or standard (23"). The hammer consists of steel tubing which slides over a hardened steel rod which is threaded to 5/8" NC to accommodate AMS Extensions. Soft baked-on rubber coating eliminates shock to operator’s hands and increases comfort. Ball grip handle. Not recommended for use with Quick Connect extensions because the pounding would eventually shear off the pin. (The Tile Probe adaptor is necessary for use with the Slide Hammer.)
