Portable soil tester is rugged, convenient and operates without a power source. To obtain a reading, insert the probe into moist soil, leave for 3 minutes then read pH and moisture on the spot.
Specifications: Metal plates on the sides of the meter produce a natural electricity when inserted into the soil. Measures from 3.5–8.0pH on the outside scale of the dial and from 0–100% moisture on the inner scale of the dial. Accuracy: ±0.2pH, ±10% moisture. Unit is 6 1/2"L. Complete with instructions and carrying case. Conditioning Film sheets are required to clean the metal side plates and are sold separately below.
